KOCETAL®

KOCETAL® is an engineering plastic with high crystallinity, composed of polyacetal copolymer.
Its key characteristics include balanced mechanical properties, low friction coefficient, excellent wear resistance, and outstanding fuel resistance.
Notably, its low moisture absorption rate ensures stable dimensional stability.

It is primary applicable to automotive components such as gears, fuel pump modules, door latches, window regulator parts,
and seat belt components to household appliances like refrigerators, air conditioners, printers, as well as everyday items like buckles and zippers.

KOCETAL® - ECO Products

KOLON ENP's KOCETAL® ECO products are broadly categorized into three types based on the eco-friendliness of the raw materials.
Additionally, in December 2020, we obtained ISCC PLUS certification, becoming the first in the Korean chemical industry to establish a sustainable supply chain to purchase raw materials and produce and sell products.

  • ECO-B(Bio-POM)

    Bio(Mass-Balance) Material

    ECH-B is an eco-friendly product that replaces petroleum-based raw materials with bio-waste raw materials.

  • ECO-LC(Low-Carbon POM)

    Low Carbon Material

    KOCETAL® ECO-LC is an eco-friendly product that reduces carbon emissions by using raw materials produced by captured carbon.

  • ECO-E(E-POM)

    E (Use of Renewable Energy) Material

    KOCETAL® ECO-E is an eco-friendly product that reduces carbon emissions by using raw materials produced with green hydrogen.
