KOPA® - PA66
KOPA® - PA66 is produced by the polymerization of HMDA and APA, possessing nylon characteristics such as high strength, wear resistance, excellent flexibility, elasticity, and chemical properties. With a higher melting point than KOPA6®, it is inherently suited for imparting heat resistance and flame retardant to the resin.
As an engineering plastic, it is widely used in various automotive components requiring heat resistance, high voltage resistance, oil resistance, and chemical resistance. It is also extensively applied in electronic/electrical parts requiring flame-retardant properties, as well as household goods such as cookware. -
KOPA® - PA66 ECO
KOLON ENP's KOPA® - PA66 ECO-R is a product which contributes to environmental sustainability by utilizing recycled plastics from post-consumer or industrial waste, thereby reducing waste generation and carbon emissions.

Application
Advantages
-
Heat Resistance
It has excellent heat resistance due to the amide hydrogen bond, with a high melting point.
Mainly used in automotive engine components. -
Chemical Resistance
It features excellent chemical resistance and is insoluble in general organic solvents however it dissolves by swelling in organic acids and dissolves by undergoing hydrolysis in non-organic acids.
Excellent oil resistance is required for automotive engine components, and it is stable in alkaline solutions.
